Dr. Akin is the sixth president of Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary and has been serving in the role since 2004. Known as an advocate for international missions and expository preaching, he also has a reputation as a faithful husband and father and genuine man of God. Akin and his wife Charlotte have four sons, four daughters-in-law, and 12 grandchildren.


Dan Dumas is a leader committed to gospel transformation . Dan is the author of Live Smart, a gospel resource for the next generation and Founder of Red Buffalo Ventures. As an advocate for vulnerable children he was Special Advisor for Foster Care and Adoption to the Governor of Kentucky. Dan and his wife Jane have two teenage children. Dan is the co-author of A Guide to Biblical Manhood, and editor of A Guide to Expository Preaching.


Kurt is a graduate of the Master’s Seminary. He has served in pastoral roles in California, Illinois, North Carolina, and now Florida, where he lives with his wife and six children. Kurt is currently working on a doctoral degree from Southern Seminary.


Eric is the pastor of Grace Church in Miami, Florida, a new church planted in 2019. Prior to this he served as the senior pastor at Castleview Church in Indianapolis and associate pastor at Grace Community Church in Los Angeles. Eric’s passions include dating his wife of 24 years, raising his sons (20, 18, 17), preaching and discipling, and helping serve other pastors. His hobbies include CrossFit and anything outdoors.


Daniel is in his fifteenth year pastoring Cornerstone Baptist Church in his hometown of Wilmington, NC. He is a graduate of NC State and The Master’s Seminary in Sun Valley, CA. He is currently pursuing a Doctorate of Ministry from Southern Seminary in Louisville, KY. Daniel and his wife, Lisa, have four children: Jacob, Josiah, Ellie and Judah.


Dr. Scott Pace is dean of The College at Southeastern. His ministry as a pastor has extended almost 20 years in a variety of full-time and interim capacities through three states. He is an author and regular conference speaker. Prior to his vocational calling, Scott served in the corporate world as an accountant and in the private sector as a business manager. He and his wife, Dana, have been married since 1999, and have four children: Gracelyn, Tyler, Tessa, and Cassie.


Jeff is the executive director of Evangelical Council for Abuse Prevention and CEO of Red Buffalo consulting. Prior to this, Jeff was a vice president at Southern Seminary, Louisville, KY. Originally from Los Angeles, he now lives in Jacksonville, Florida with his wife Kristil and four kids. He is an elder at Sunrise Community Church in Atlantic Beach.


Dr. Greg Mathias is the Associate Director of the Center for Great Commission Studies and Assistant Professor of Global Studies at Southeastern Baptist Seminary. Greg is married to Page, and they have four daughters: Jordan, Chloe, Caroline, and Hadley. In a previous life, Greg and his family lived in the Middle East where they started an Adventure Tourism business as well as serving as missionaries with the IMB. The road to the Middle East began in college with a summer trip to Jordan and then took Greg and Page on staff with Cru at Penn State University where they worked to minister to the fraternities and sororities.
